Membership Dues are invoiced in January of each year, and must be paid by the end of March. You can make payments via check by mailing it to our address: Salem Yacht & Boat Club

Annual Dues: Dues for Full Membership, in 2024, if paid by cash or check, are $700. For members with boats, please note, you are required to send a copy of your Proof of Insurance. Your gate access will be disabled if proof of insurance is not submitted. If you are mailing your dues in, you can download a form. Please note: Board approval is needed to change your membership type. For example, if you are currently a Full member, and want to move to Associate (or vice versa), request approval from the board before paying your dues. Dues for Associate members, if paid by check or cash, is $400. A $50 cleanup fee is charged for each member who does not participate in at least one of the scheduled cleanup days. If you know you will not be participating, please pay your fee now so we can plan for the events. |
Initiation Fee:
New members are required to pay an initiation fee. The fee for 2024 is $250.
Dry Moorage:
Full Members are allowed to reserve a dry moorage space (12-feet wide) in the gravel parking lot. If paying cash or check, moorage is $325 per year. Each space is numbered, and reserved for the year. Make sure you have reserved a space before paying your fee. Only boats, docks, or boat/dock trailers may be kept in your space without prior written permission. All items stored must be towable, and tires must be in good condition.
Replacement Keycard:
If you lose or break your keycard, you can order a replacement.
Pay for a Party:
Parties may be scheduled Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays. A party does not “reserve” the club, or prevent other members from using any part of the SYBC grounds. It only allows more guests than is normally permitted. Parties require Board approval. Submit your request, in writing, or make your request at our monthly meeting.
