get close to the top of the list.<\/p>\n<p>Fields marked with a red * are mandatory.\u00a0 All others are optional.<\/p>\n<p>It is strongly recommended to have a sponsor who can vouch for your character and help you with questions, rules, and understanding the safe places to operate your boat (if you have one).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Applicants without a sponsor are subject to a background
